Welcome to Boxstoberfest
Boxstoberfest is a low-key weekend filled with fun Porsche events in a great location. The 14th annual Boxstoberfest is scheduled for the weekend of September 9 - 11, 2011. While geared towards the Boxster, Boxstoberfest welcomes Cayman owners and owners of other Porsche models. Last year we had over 160 attendees. This year we expect even more!
As in past gatherings, Fredericksburg, Texas - about 1 hour north of San Antonio - will host Boxstoberfest 2011. Fredericksburg sits at the eastern edge of the great roads of the Texas Hill Country and is known for its deep-rooted German heritage.
This year, we've moved our headquarters to the Hangar Hotel. Previous attendess will be familiar with this location as the site of our traditional Saturday morning show & shine. We're certain that transitioning the Friday evening checkin and Saturday evening dinner to this unique hotel will be great changes for our event.

F.A.Q.'s
- Where did the name come from?
- The original event was targeted at Boxster owners. Porsches are German and Oktoberfest is a party that likely needs no explanation. Put those two together and you get Boxstoberfest. Rolls off the tongue, doesn't it?
- Why is "Boxstoberfest" held in September?
- Our event was originally held in October, but poor weather conditions forced us to move the date up to September. And Boxstemberfest just doesn't seem right.
- How much is the entry fee for Boxstoberfest?
- This year we will be charging a $10 per person entry fee. We don't run a "for-profit" event, but we also don't want to run a "for-loss" event either. The entry fee will cover participant badges, trophies, and other expenses associated with planning Boxstoberfest.
