Routes
2010
Regular routes have been completed, and will be uploaded soon. Registered attendees will also receive these by email just prior to the event. Please print off the route and bring with you. For those going on the "rally," the clues will be distributed at the start of the event.
Bring your FRS radio if you have one (but not required). Arrive to the start point Saturday morning with a FULL tank of gas.
2009
There were 3 options for drives:
- Regular Drive - Our Regular Drive participants were divided into two groups. One followed the
route clockwise, and the other counterclockwise.
Clockwise
Counter Clockwise - Extended Drive - This group followed the same path as the Regular Drive clockwise to our lunch
destination. After lunch they set out East from Leakey and explored even more of the awesome Texas Hill Country.

2008
There were 3 options for drives:
- Regular Drive - Our Regular Drive participants will be divided into two groups. One will follow the
route clockwise, and the other counterclockwise.

2007
There were 3 options for drives:
- Both groups leave Fredericksburg together and head down Hwy 16 to the major intersection in Kerville, splitting up there.
- Group 1 (yellow) will head south on Hwy 16 to Medina, Bandera and Vanderpool arriving in Leakey for lunch at 12:40 (no potty breaks).
- Group 2 (blue) will head right to Hunt, down 39 to Vanderpool, then 337 over to Leakey, arriving for lunch at 12:15 (no potty breaks)
- Group 1 will leave Leakey and head back to Kerrville the same route that group 2 did (opposite direction of course!), stopping for a potty break in Hunt, or where ever they choose - arriving back in Fredericksburg at 4 P.M. If they take a 20 min potty break, then they'll be back at 4:20.
- Group 2 will leave Leakey and head back to Kerrville the same route that group 1 did (opposite direction of course!), stopping for a potty break in Medina at Love Orchards - arriving back in Fredericksburg at 4 P.M. If they take a 20 min potty break, then they'll be back at 4:20.
- Group 3 (green) (LONG DRIVE ROUTE) will leave Leakey NLT 2 P.M. and head west to Camp Wood - north on 335 to 41 - 41 to IH10 - to Hwy 16 - and then home - should be back by 4:45 - whatever breaks they take will add to this time.

2004
Our Hill Country tour left from downtown around 11am and took a loop around some of the most scenic and curvy roads in the area. We stopped for lunch at The Hunt Store, in beautiful downtown Hunt, Texas. After lunch we continued on the tour through Leakey, Medina and Kerville before finally arriving back in Fredericksburg. 2003
On our 2003 tour we left Fredericksburg to have lunch in Medina at the Love Creek Apple Orchard. After lunch, those wishing to continue on the tour headed west towards Leakey, looped around to Utopia, and then headed on to Welfare where we had dinner. View the map
2002
For the 2002 tour we had 41 cars in the morning, a few peeled off after lunch, a few more took a shorter route, and 31 went the whole route. The shortcut turned north on 1340, just east of Ingram. View the map
